RHOBH: The reunion is virtual, will it be lackluster with this cast?
By Amanda Cline
The RHOBH reunion is rumored to be online this year and based on how the season is going, do we think Denise Richards will show up?
Back in the day, the reunions were a requirement for being a housewife. As time went on, not attending the reunion was kind of a power move, and often times a final act as a housewife. On Brandi Glanville’sUnfiltered podcast, she spilled that the reunion for the 10th RHOBH season will be virtual. We know it can be done because The Real Housewives of Atlanta did it first. On her podcast, Brandi said that Bravo was sending her to get a test for COVID-19 but she didn’t know why since the reunion was going to be virtual.
The drama with Denise Richards supposedly unfolds this week and Brandi is wrapped up in all of it. We know that by the time they reached the cast trip, Denise did not want to attend. She tried to get out of it but production made her go anyway. If Denise is done with the show, will her final act as a housewife be not attending the reunion?
The Beverly Hills housewives are nowhere near as dynamic as the Atlanta ladies. They rely on different tactics to provide drama that often falls flat. Will Erika Jayne even have an entire glam squad to make her look good over the internet? Will Lisa Rinna be able to accuse Denise of things virtually?
It is understandable that the group isn’t doing an in-person taping, but it seems like a lackluster end to another lackluster season. Brandi has a tendency to deliver her comments in such a disrespectful way that the point gets missed. Kyle Richards is probably going to cry about anything and everything, and Denise will probably be so over it she doesn’t even care to respond. Garcelle Beauvais will, no doubt, call out Kyle for not being welcoming to her. Kyle will cry and if anyone leaves the virtual set, I bet it is Kyle after a good cry.
It is obviously safer for everyone involved to partake in a virtual reunion instead of an in-person one, but it just feels like another way for the franchise to fall short. If Denise is done with the show, what in the world is next for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
