Brandi Glanville has been a part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since season two, but her story is not an entertaining one to watch.

Brandi Glanville has done it all: she was a friend of the cast for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season two, a main housewife from seasons three through five, and she was a guest character for seasons six, nine, and ten.  She was also a part of the drama on Vanderpump Rules when Scheana Shay was having an affair with her husband, Eddie Cibrian.  But overall, Brandi’s story is a sad one.

For a while, Brandi found her niche on the show being the one who stirred the pot.  She first came on the scene in an outfit complete with a set of crutches.  She accused Kim Richards of doing “crystal meth in the bathroom all night long,” which was met with Kyle Richards calling her a “slut pig.”  This fight eventually led to a real (maybe?) friendship with Kim after the dust settled, but Brandi continued to bring the drama at every party, but what a way to start your reality television career.

She got into it with Adrienne Maloof when she threatened to drop a bombshell about Adrienne’s pregnancy with her twin boys.  For whatever reason, Brandi wanted the world to know Adrienne allegedly used a surrogate – news Adrienne didn’t want out there.  Adrienne and Paul Nassif had their lawyers try to remove that information from the episodes, but the damage was done.  Why in the world did Brandi care enough to spill such a secret?  It was getting dark.  Quickly.

Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi became close for a while, but Brandi is adamant that Lisa “tried to ruin her life.”  Anyway, Lisa and Brandi had a falling out after Brandi told Kyle that Lisa tried to have her bring tabloid magazines on their cast trip. The stories included rumors that Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, was having an affair. Brandi refused, and their relationship was never the same.

Fast forward to season nine.  Brandi joined Denise Richards for dinner where she ordered a double glass of wine but in one glass – and she said she would kill the poor server if he brought two glasses.  Brandi alleges that she and Denise had a one-night affair, presumably after filming that night.  Lisa Rinna said that Denise sent someone a cease and desist letter from her lawyer, which was presumably sent to Brandi.  The rest of the season’s drama hinges on these rumors – but Brandi hasn’t even shown up yet.

Just this weekend, Brandi tweeted a photo of her and Denise kissing in the same outfit from season nine.  But overall, Brandi’s stories on the show are just sad.  She’s dramatic and entertaining, sure.

Brandi is like a firework going off prematurely.  Bright, shiny, loud – but at the wrong time.  And it makes you sad to watch it, but then you quickly forget about it when the next firework goes off.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back on July 9.
