Since 2020 is cancelled, RHOBH’s Erika Jayne was able to take part in the virtual celebration for LA Pride and even a virtual WWHL wedding!

This year marked the 50th anniversary of the LA Pride parade – a monumental anniversary for any event!  Instead of cancelling it altogether, they moved the event online and made it a virtual party.  While The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on a hiatus through July 9, Erika Jayne was a part of the virtual celebration.  In addition to that event, Erika was also a guest at a virtual wedding held on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen!

As a part of their own Pride celebration, Andy Cohen and Patti LaBelle officiated a virtual wedding for Robert and Justin featuring some of their favourite stars.  For Justin, Erika was his matron of honour, and for Robert’s matron of honour, Andy brought out Kandi Burruss!

Introduced after the dancing shark, Andy called Kandi “the woman who wrote Bug-A-Boo,” and brought everyone together in “virtual internet matrimony” for the most fabulous and socially distanced wedding so far this year.

While many events have been postponed or cancelled entirely, it was nice to have a lighthearted celebration to watch from the comfort of our homes.  Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen has done an excellent job of rolling with the changes to bring us the entertaining show we all know and love.

Patti sang “Love, Need and Want You” to the newlyweds while they ate their wedding cupcakes and Justin even cried!  Imagine having Patti LaBelle AND the dancing shark at your wedding?  What a dream!

In a sea of negativity and uncertainty, watching some of our favourite stars attend a virtual wedding for complete strangers really reminds us what is important: love…and cupcakes.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back on July 9.
