RHOBH: Why does Kyle Richards dislike Garcelle Beauvais so much?

Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais were off to a good start on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it quickly deteriorated.

When Garcelle Beauvais arrived on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was a breath of fresh air.  She was an actress, a mom, a down-to-earth addition to the up-in-the-air cast.  Garcelle and Denise Richards were friends prior to the housewives and seemed to have a real relationship off-screen, something rare in those parts.  From the get-go, it seemed that Kyle Richards tried to be Garcelle’s friend, but the two just didn’t mix.  Is it Garcelle’s allegiance to Denise?  Probably…

If we had to guess, once Kyle could tell that Garcelle was going to side with Denise, she knew she was a threat.  Denise was kind of alone on an island while the rest of the ladies ganged up on her, but Garcelle has stood by her in the arguments.

In the most recent episode, Kyle claimed she tried to get to know Garcelle and they had some one-on-one time.  Garcelle was quick to say that Kyle might have “tried” to get to know her, but it was very surface level.  “I felt like I keep bringing things up to you and you keep glazing over them.”

Kyle tweeted that Garcelle was away a lot during filming and was “looking for a storyline,” which is why Garcelle called her out a few times.  On the flip side, Kyle did support Garcelle during her event and donated to her charity.  It isn’t clear if things got worse between the two during filming, or only when the season started to air and the confessionals came out.

Garcelle and Kyle have both spoken about each other on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and Kyle responded by saying she was surprised by the shade Garcelle threw.  Garcelle said Kyle was the least welcoming of the group and that she had the biggest ego.  Shady!

Either way, we know Kyle loves to play the victim.  Because she’s a working actress, get it?  She has a life, guys!
