Here's what Kyle Richards texted Dorit Kemsley before the season 13 reunion

Prior to the RHOBH season 13 reunion, Kyle Richards sent co-star Dorit Kemsley a text message that Dorit called "so calculated" and "manipulative." The preview for part one of the reunion (below) features Dorit revealing to Erika Jayne that she and Kyle hadn't spoken and that she felt like the text message that she received was an attempt to "silence" her. The preview shows Erika Jayne grab Dorit Kemsley's phone and say the message is "like a novel" before she reads what Kyle said.

What did Kyle Richards text Dorit Kemsley?

Despite the fact that Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards were long-time best friends, the end of season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reveals that the two of them hadn't spoken since December when it came time to film the reunion.

"We have some things to work out," Kyle Richards told Andy Cohen on an episode of Watch What Happens Live! where Andy Cohen teased the RHOBH reunion and mentioned that the two of them spoke at the reunion and tried to work things out there.

"Hi, I've been trying to reach out because I know we are in a weird place and it really bothers me," the text message from Kyle Richards to Dorit Kemsley starts. The message goes on to say that some of the things that Dorit Kemsley had said about her hurt her feelings, but she doesn't want to lose someone close to her over a TV show and attempts to make a plan to sit down and work things out privately with Dorit Kemsley.

Along with saying that she was hurt by things that Dorit Kemsley had publicly said about her, she makes cryptic reference to private comments and says that she felt extra hurt because Kyle says she wasn't able to confront Dorit about them. Later in the message, Kyle says she should have said something sooner, but didn't feel "strong" enough to open up about her feelings yet.

"I also reminded myself that you didn't know what I was going through with Moe at the time for most of these remarks. But then I heard some things that you said about me off camera that hurt me deeply and I wasn't even able to say what I heard or from whom. It was one of those things where I wished I just didn't know at all because I wasn't able to share and yet I was left hurt and couldn't even try to work it through with you. And I know you will be frustrated and want to know what and who said it. But I can't. It's as frustrating to me as it will be to you."

In the long text message, Kyle Richards makes references to her difficult separation from Mauricio Umansky, saying, "I have gone through such a hard time Dorit. I've been in so much pain[.] I can't tell you. Never have I felt so low. And I know you are also going through [a] hard time. Normally I would have reached out to check on you but I was hurt and very depressed."
