Although there were rumors about actress and singer Halle Bailey potentially being pregnant in 2023, she and her boyfriend, rapper DDG, stayed totally silent and even went so far as to deny the rumors that they had welcomed a baby into the world. But in January, Bailey took to her Instagram account to announce the birth of their first son, Halo, and since then, she's started to be more open about the pregnancy she was hiding.

The Little Mermaid actress shared a behind the scenes video of a maternity photoshoot she did underwater, a very fitting tribute to her mermaid character in the live-action remake of the Disney animated classic. And now, she's shared a "before vs after" photo showing herself when she was pregnant and then a shot of herself holding Halo in the same mirror and similar outfit.

In one photo, her bump is on full display while the next photo in the post shared to X (formerly Twitter) shows her holding her son, Halo. Bailey has been like many other celebrities who hides her son's face, but she takes it a step further in the photo she shared. In the "after" side of the photos, Bailey's phone is strategically placed to cover Halo's face in the selfie, but she also placed an emoji over the rest of her son's body to keep him completely hidden from social media.

Previously, Halo's dad DDG had teased fans -- and even tricked a few -- by posing with friend Deshae Frost's baby sister, Bali, and claiming that he was finally sharing a highlight anticipated photo of Halo.

Although both famous parents are still keeping Halo hidden from the public eye, it looks like she's been getting more and more comfortable with sharing her pregnancy journey with her fans. Plus, her sister Chloe Bailey has been getting in on the fun by sharing an old TikTok that the two of them had filmed while Halle was pregnant.

"[N]ow imagine if you had accidentally uploaded this tiktok back then," one fan joked in response to the video.
