Following months of rumors and speculation, Halle Bailey and her rapper boyfriend DDG are finally ready to make thier big announcement: they welcomed a son together.

Although the pair kept Halle Bailey's pregnancy hush-hush and even denied rumors of a baby, Halle Bailey decided she was finally ready to let the world in announce the birth of their son, Halo.

Halle Bailey is an actress known for movies like The Color Purple and The Little Mermaid as well as being a singer. She and her sister, Chloe Bailey, make up the musical group Chloe x Halle and the pair rose to fame while opening for Beyonce on her Formation World Tour.

She has been publicly dating DDG, a rapper and actor, since 2021 and the pair started to be the focus of pregnancy rumors in 2023 when Halle Bailey was spotted out and about wearing looser fitting clothes than fans were used to seeing her in. Although Halle and DDG both kept quiet about the pregnancy rumors, they didn't stop throughout the holiday season.

As DDG was showing off the lavish presents he bought multitalented girlfriend, fans were convinced they could hear a baby crying in the background, but DDG took to his Snapchat just days later to say that people were too "invested" in their relationship and that he found the rumors that the pair of them had welcomed a baby together "weird."

On January 6, Halle Bailey surprised fans by posting a photo on her Instagram account of her fingers holding a baby's hand while the baby wears a bracelet that reads "Halo," presumed to be the name of her son.

The caption says that having her son was the best part of the singer's 2023 and references the fact that so many people have been speculating about whether or not the pair were expecting when she finished the caption with, "[T]he world is desperate to know you."
