It’s no secret Garcelle Beauvais is a busy lady, but is she too busy for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? We hope not! It was suggested she might not be taking such a big role for season 11 because she’s so busy, but she’s still around for now. While she missed the first day of the cast trip down to La Jolla, California, she was present for the rest of the trip.
Fans were upset Garcelle wasn’t around when the women were spotted on the beach, but she showed up a little later. Between 2019-2020, Garcelle worked on seven projects besides filming for Real Housewives. From her IMBD, those projects were Coming 2 America, Carol’s Second Act, Veronica Garland, Tell Me a Story, Merry Happy Whatever, Middle School Moguls, and Siren. She also films the daytime talk show, The Real. So it isn’t that outrageous to think that she might have some schedule conflicts.
That’s part of the problem with the casting for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Denise Richards had similar scheduling issues last season while she was trying to film for the show. She spent a lot of time working during one part of the day just to hop over to film with the rest of the cast for later in the day.
According to her IMDB, in 2020 alone, Denise filmed Glow & Darkness, Among the Ashes, Saturday at the Starlight, Love Accidentally, FraXtur, The Bold and the Beautiful, Paper Empire, Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate’s Cove, Switched, Money Plane, Alpha Code, and Reality Queen!
Garcelle Beauvais has a full plate this year with her acting career, but will The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills make the cut?
Sometimes a good housewife has a boring life outside of Bravo. Plenty of time for daytime lunches and gossip. But real working actresses like Garcelle and Denise have real working schedules to adhere to, and boozy lunches don’t always mix. Plus, filming movies has to be much more profitable in the long run.
The Real Housewives platform is a great starting point for some people, but Garcelle is already an established actress. Not to mention the stress of dealing with all of the other women is probably a lot.
We know Garcelle and Lisa Rinna have some unfinished business from season 10, but it just seems lame in comparison to everything else she has going on. We don’t blame Garcelle if she moves on, but we will certainly miss her.
Garcelle Beauvais & The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo this year!
