RHOSLC: Will Real Housewives of Salt Lake City return for a season 2?

With the continued success of Bravos’ newest show, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, many fans are wondering whether the franchise will see a second season!

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has become an overnight success and it is all thanks to the incredible cast. The show, which follows the lives of Utah’s very own Meredith Marks, Jen Shah, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, and of course the incomparable, Heather Gay, is taking the network by storm.

After its premiere back in November 2020, RHOSLC was all any Bravo fan could talk about, and rightfully so! From the constant drama that fans take in each and every episode, there is no denying just how great the new franchise is. Although we have seen a number of great cities before, including Washington D.C, and Miami, Bravo cut both shows short only after 1 season.

Considering this is Salt Lake City’s first go on Bravo, many fans are wondering whether or not the network will be renewing the show for a second season. Much like other first-time Housewives shows, RHOSLC  season one is set to be a 10-episode season, not including reunion episodes, in order to get a feel as to whether or not the public is feeling the show.

With the reunion underway, it seems as if the drama is carrying over between Jen and Mary, along with Meredith’s marriage coming up as well. The show’s executive producer and host of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen, has had nothing but phenomenal things to say about the reality series, leaving many to assume that it will, in fact, be picked up for a second go.

Although nothing is concrete yet, Bravo won’t announce a renewal anytime soon! Considering we are all still very much in the middle of a pandemic, production for a possible second season wouldn’t start until late 2021 or early 2022. With that being said, a renewal announcement can be expected to come this summer.

Despite what may come about with RHOSLC, there really is no denying just how great a season the ‘wives have crafted so far. With shocking storylines, lavish lunches, and endless parties, we along with fans of the show hope for nothing but the best news when the time comes!
