The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City trailer has finally dropped and it is a whole lot of drama, religion, and designer clothing.

It feels like the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City franchise was announced years ago, but it was actually only revealed at BravoCon in November 2019.  We finally have an update on the franchise, and even a trailer to go along with it from People!  Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, Mary Crosby, and Jen Shah have joined the RHOSL cast for their first-ever season.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will premiere on Nov. 11 at 10 PM through 11:15 PM.  “Perfection is attainable,” the trailer opened with an interesting line from Heather.  It looks like a lot of snow, a lot of drama, and a lot of religion.  Mostly Mormonism, in case you couldn’t guess.

While Heather stated she was a “purebred, pioneer Mormon,” Meredith said she was Jewish, Mary is Pentecostal, Lisa noted she was Jewish from her heritage but Mormon by choice.  Whitney noted that she was no longer Mormon, and it was a big deal to even say that!  Jen said she was raised Mormon but was actively converting to Islam.

There appears to be a vow renewal by Whitney, some drama with someone’s husband, a swinger storyline, and everything in between for the first season of this dramatic Salt Lake City franchise.  Did we mention Mary married her grandfather and inherited the family empire?  Right, because she did.

Religion isn’t usually a topic these shows focus on, so it will be interesting to see how it unfolds in a reality television scenario.  Unfortunately, that also means it could be a no-go with a lot of viewers who feel strongly one way or another about the ladies’ religion of choice.

We don’t often get colder climate housewives attire, either, so bring on the fancy faux furs and snow boots!  Leave your swan jacket at home, Jen!

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will be on Bravo soon!
