Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Kyle Richards was out of line at dinner
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had another dramatic dinner where they aired their grievances with every single person at the table.
After last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we knew things with Denise Richards were about to get very interesting. The astrology guy came to Erika Jayne’s house to stir things up with his pre-determined astrology reads for the ladies. The housewives love to use psychics and astrologists as a tool to further storylines, and this dinner was no different.
“The one who will have the most to reveal will be you,” he said to Denise. When he got back to Dorit Kemsley, the astrologist said that she was all about her feelings. It can be difficult to reel her back in, and the astrologist even likened it to a tidal wave of emotion. Cue some flashbacks of Dorit having a meltdown. The astrologist also said that Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s relationship is very close because of their signs.
Dorit asked if Teddi and Kyle went to couples therapy last year, which was a misunderstanding. Kyle, obviously, freaked out about the accusation. There was a flashback to a moment where the two did therapy together…which sort of equals couples therapy if you consider two people together on a couch – a couple. Of course, if Kyle wasn’t in a tizzy before, she sure was at that point.
Sutton Stracke started freaking out that she had not been read yet and told Dorit to “zip it.” This caused Dorit and Erika to yell at Sutton to calm down. Sutton is still mad about last week when she said she was going to freak out and Dorit announced it to the group. Lisa Rinna interjected that she was upset something like that would happen at an event for her kids. In the moment, Sutton confided in Dorit, and Dorit went and made a huge deal of it for no reason. Garcelle Beauvais said that she tries to talk to Kyle, but Kyle just glazes over her and doesn’t really talk back.
“The more I get to know Kyle, the more it seems like she’s only great for the surface.” Kyle does have a tendency to compliment people but not actually get to know them. It comes off as inauthentic and fake. Much like RHOBH in a nutshell, which is why Kyle thinks she is queen. “Why do you glaze over her,” Dorit asked Kyle. Kyle shot back with, “Shut up you f****** a******.” Kyle called Dorit an a****** again before the night was over.
Kyle ended the night by saying Erika had no friends and crying. It’s nice she has Teddi to lean on because she’s doing a great job of alienating herself from everyone else in quick order. For every episode we’ve watched (which is six), there have been almost double the number of crying scenes for Kyle. Is her storyline this season simply crying? I’d like a refund, please.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back Wednesday at 8 PM on Bravo!
