RHOA: Nene Leakes hates the show but loves the press from it

No matter where you turn, Nene Leakes is always talking about RHOA or her castmates – but she never has anything positive to say.

In the words of The Real Housewives of Dallas’ LeeAnne Locken, “I’m exhausted…my weave is exhausted.”  Nene Leakes is nothing short of exhausting herself.  In the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene spit popcorn kernels at Kenya Moore and viewers expressed how awful they thought her actions were.

When you read the comments section of any news on our girl Nene, the comments are overwhelmingly negative no matter what she does.  But boy, she does a lot.  Everywhere you turn, Nene is posting on her YouTube channel, on podcasts discussing her open marriage, on the Bravo After Show, doing interviews, retweeting shady tweets from strangers, talking to Wendy Williams…the supply of news is endless.

But Nene has been clear that she wouldn’t mind leaving the show, while also being clear that she has been carrying the show for years.  It seems that she resents the show and everyone on it, but looooooves to talk about it.

Many people would call Nene selfish and toxic, and they would not be wrong.  Her whole presence on RHOA this season has been self-serving and negative.  Some argue she’s always been that way, but something about her this season seems more desperate for attention.

Since everything happened with her husband, Gregg Leakes, Nene’s life has been in disarray.  But there are constant rumors that their marriage is on the rocks, and she seemed to confirm that they had an open marriage on a podcast recently.

If Nene is ready to leave the show, then she should.  Something tells me she wouldn’t walk away as willingly as she says she would.

So does she even enjoy being on the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta anymore, or is it just something to do these days?  With such a gap between filming and the reunion, will that impact her chances as a cast member for next season?  She has no real friends on the show…and certainly no friends in production.  Uhoh, Nene!
