RHOBH: Dorit Kemsley back in court for PK’s $1.2 million dollar lawsuit
By Amanda Cline
Rumors and lawsuits seem to follow this RHOBH couple wherever they go. Dorit Kemsley was back in court last week for her husband’s lawsuit.
More lawsuit drama for the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! PK Kemsley has been accused of not paying back a loan of $1.2 million dollars from a former business partner, Nicos Kirzis. A judge just ruled that his wife, Dorit Kemsley, has to reveal her finances in order to see if she is hiding money for her husband. Kirzis’s lawyers say that PK claims to have no assets and no way to pay back the 2011 loan, but their behavior and lifestyle on RHOBH contradicts that.
Earlier this year, the RHOBH star claimed she had frozen her own bank accounts in order to protect her money. PK has apparently paid $250,000 back of the loan but still owes more than $1.2 million. The $250,000 doesn’t even cover the interest of the loan. Kirzis tried to seize the money in a bank account belonging to the couple, but PK and Dorit’s lawyers tried to block it since it was not only in PK’s name.
Dorit argued that the account, which has less than $30,000 in it, only had her money in it. On September 5, no decision was made on whether the judge will unfreeze or seize the money in the account.
During last season of RHOBH, co-star Camille Grammer called Dorit out for being shady and having lawsuits of her own related to her swim line, Beverly Beach. Dorit is being sued by Ryan Horne for the $205,000 he invested in her company. Camille went on to say that if the two are having financial problems, all of Dorit’s designer outfits and diamonds don’t add up.
If Dorit and PK are hiding money, it would have been a good idea to shy away from the excess. But as we know, if there’s one thing Dorit lives for, it’s an excess of everything — except moderation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not currently airing on Bravo, but the drama never ends!
