For his birthday, Ken Todd, had some words for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies and their treatment of Lisa Vanderpump.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband, Ken Todd, took to Twitter on his birthday to discuss the treatment of his wife, Lisa Vanderpump. Kyle Richards didn’t love the content of his tweets and took to Twitter to defend herself.

The tweets start here and go on for almost 20 tweets.

Some of the more important bits are as follows:

Kyle says the show is not the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, and that the show is not scripted.  She even acknowledges that her nickname is “Kryle” and that she cried through a few of the scenes while watching.

One tweet said, “I have made mistakes, made good choices, made bad choices, learned a lot and grown as a person.”

During this season in particular, Kyle says she was very frustrated with “the game.”  The game, being on television and getting people to like you, was not won by anyone this season.  Kyle is implying that Lisa knows how to work “the game” and manipulate things to benefit her – but I think we saw both teams lose this season.

Kyle goes on to say the cast didn’t bully Lisa, she says they were simply being honest.  I think the behavior this season went a little past honesty.  I hope that everyone on the cast learned a lot this season, much like Kyle says she did.  Perhaps it seemed out of balance because it was Lisa vs. the rest of the RHOBH cast while she was on her own.

The trouble with trouble

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills does feel more scripted or produced than most.  The women know how to say and do things in order to benefit themselves, and the audience can tell. Their silence on certain topics speaks louder than anything else, looking at you, Dorit Kemsley.

I think part of the problem here is that both sides are very hurt.  There is no winning when a friendship ends, especially when it ends abruptly and in the public eye. Kyle is allowed to be frustrated with Ken and Lisa, just as they are allowed to be frustrated with her.

I hope that since these tweets have been tweeted and all of the feelings have been laid out, that we can all start to move on from this monstrosity of a season.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part 3 is on Tuesday, July 30 at 9 PM ET.
