After an exhausting season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Ken Todd has spoken out about the treatment of his wife, Lisa Vanderpump.

Ken Todd, husband to the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump, is fed up with the other ladies and how they have treated his wife.

The RHOBH season 9 reunion began this week, notably without Lisa Vanderpump.

To celebrate his birthday, Ken has taken to twitter.  See the tweet, and my interpretation, below:

Part I

Ken says that it is his birthday and he’d like to get some thoughts off his chest. He says Lisa has been surrounded by nastiness that has pushed Lisa to the brink.  In a time like this, Lisa needed her friends around and in turn, they attacked her.

Ken goes on to say that those involved in this mess are hypocrites due to their own personal issues, such as loans in default, 50 million dollars in lawsuits, rehab, bankruptcy, and “lifestyles paid for with other people’s money.”

Part II

Ken goes on to say that their work against the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and their win in congress was simply brushed off and not given the acknowledgment it deserved.  He says the focus was on a single dog, Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy – “is now in a happy home, not biting, pecking, or whatever you choose to call it.”

He alludes to the fact that Dorit Kemsley owes Vanderpump Dogs $5,000 – but does not elaborate on that.  He simply asks that Lisa is no longer bullied, “because that is what this nonstop attack has been.”

Ken says he is proud of Lisa and her accomplishments, most recently serving the 12 millionth meal at Project Angel Food.

Part III

If you remember correctly, Camille made fun of Lisa’s breath (and gums) being bad at some point during the season.  Ken says that attacking her personal hygiene is vile, and “my wife’s breath is as sweet as she is.  I am the one who kisses her daily I should know.”

He ends the statement with “it’s not just Goodbye Kyle that I want to say…it’s goodbye to all of the vicious nastiness…Happy birthday to me.”

In conclusion

No matter your feelings about Lisa and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the fact that Ken felt the need to post this is quite sad.  It is obvious his wife has been in pain about the loss of her brother and mother, without adding in the stress of her co-workers.

Hopefully, Ken, Lisa, and all of their pups, swans, horses, and bunnies, are having a lovely and low key birthday night at Villa Rosa after what has become an exhausting year.
