RHOBH: Three reasons we just can’t quit this show
By Amanda Cline
3. The Kids
I love to see the children of the housewives as they grow up. We’ve seen Kyle Richards daughter, Portia, grow up since she was a tiny baby. She’s 11 now!
Kyle also has three older daughters, Farrah (age 30), Alexia (age 23 as of yesterday!), and Sophia (age 19). We’ve seen them go off to college, start working, cry, laugh, chase the dogs. All of the above! I love seeing Kyle with her daughters.
Lisa Vanderpump’s children are fully grown now, but I still enjoy seeing Pandora and Max show up occasionally. Pandora’s wedding was shown on season 2 episode 20 and brought us the gift that is Kevin “shi shi shi” Lee.
Denise Richards is a new addition to this season, but I love seeing her family on the show.
Her children are Sam (age 15), Lola (age 13), and Eloise (age 8), and her new husband Aaron Phypers, is even adopting the youngest, Eloise. Denise shares the two older girls with her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen.
We’ve seen Camille Grammer Meyer’s daughter grow up on the show as well. She’s 17 now, and was first on our screens when she was only around 10 when her parent’s divorce played out on TV. We never saw much of her brothers, Greer and Spencer on the show.
Dorit Kemsley’s children, Jagger (age 5) and Phoenix (age 3) are growing up in front of our eyes.
I have a soft spot for the family scenes. In between all of the glam-jet-setting-wine-throwing-extravaganzas, you can find the ladies at home eating with their families and pets.
Back in the first seasons, the children were even featured in the intro scenes. Sometimes a husband would appear, sometimes a dog. A lot has changed, but I still enjoy the family-oriented parts. As long as no one is receiving an eviction notice.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on Tuesdays nights at 9 PM ET on Bravo.
