2. The Glam Squads

That brings me to another point, the glam squads.  Whether the ladies go on a cast trip, or to the grocery store, it’s a fashion show the entire time.

I think it’s interesting how the glam squads all consist of the same clientele and artists/stylists.

Erika Jayne has a heavy presence in her glam squad.  She’s been quoted as saying she spends up to $40,00 a month on that heavy presence.

Mikey Minden, Kristofer Buckle, Danielle Priano, and Jack Ketsoyan sometimes make up her glam squad, sometimes they make up Mariah Carey’s glam squad.   Dani Michelle does her styling sometimes.

Etienne Ortega is also a member of this squad, doing Erika’s makeup when he isn’t doing Kris Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Christina Aguilera’s makeup.

Clyde Haygood also does a lot of work with Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Paris Hilton.

Dorit Kemsley’s glam squad consists of a few main players as well: Carlene K, Justine Marjan, Castillo Bataille, Justin Anderson, and Jazmin Gonzalez.

Carlene works with people like Kacey Musgraves, Serena Williams, and Lauren Jauregui.

Justin Anderson does hair color for Miley Cyrus, Margot Robbie, and Chelsea Handler.

Some members of Kyle’s glam squad include Pamela Brogardi and Prince Angell, who does the hair of Lilly Ghalichi and the like.

Pamela Brogardi does the makeup of Shannon Beador, Brooke Wiederhorn, Kim Richards, and even Kathy Hilton.

The moral of the story is: glam squads make the world go ’round.  Otherwise, you can end up like RHOC housewife Gina Kirschenheiter, who wore silver eyeshadow her first season and will never hear the end of it.

Almost all of the seasoned housewives (read: two seasons or more) have a group of people behind the scenes.  When the ladies went to Dubai, they brought their entire team.  This season, they went to France and did not bring their gaggle of stylists.  Interesting.

Either way, I wish I had a team of people to make me more attractive.
