When it comes to divorce news, especially from stars of any Real Housewives franchise, we are either overly surprised or not surprised at all. In terms of RHOP's Mia Thornton, I was actually quite surprised by the news that she was getting a divorce from Gordon Thornton.

Even with her fellow housewife, Karen Huger, making accusations that Mia had cheated on Gordon, it just didn't seem like something that would happen. Or maybe I just didn't think it would happen this soon.

But once divorce news drops, we expect that friends and even cast mates might reach out and check on their fellow housewives. In the case of Mia's divorce news, it seems that this was not the case for some of her fellow Potomac castmates.

Candiace Dillard Bassett and Wendy Osefo didn't reach out to Mia Thornton

According to Reality Tea, it turns out that there are two housewives who not only didn't call to check on her, but they didn't even bother to send a text. In a preview for the second part of the season 8 reunion, Mia revealed that "most" of her fellow housewives reached out to her when they learned the news. And, of course, that means that there were people who chose not to communicate with her —which does make sense when you realize who they were.

So who didn't even send a text to Mia Thornton about her divorce? Well that would be Candiace Dillard Bassett and Wendy Osefo.

This led to a realization for Mia, and it is one that we completely understand. According to her, "I thought to myself, ‘Holy s**t. Those are not my friends.'"

While both women had their own take on why they chose not to reach out — with Wendy saying she was still upset over the seventh season drink-throwing incident — it was definitely Candiace's response that cemented the idea that these ladies are not friends or even friendly. Candiace straight up told Mia, "I felt really uncomfortable for you. I was concerned for you. I just didn’t want to be involved."

Even if you don't want to be involved, just saying "I hope you are okay" goes a long way. And honestly, with Candiace leaving RHOP after season 8, it does make sense that she would already be separating herself from the other ladies. It should be interesting to see if she does come back in a few seasons while Mia is still a housewife. We'd love to see how these ladies would interact with each other.

For now, it is safe to say that Mia is not a fan of the reasons that she was given for why the other two ladies chose not to even text her. And here is hoping that she can move past all of this and bring new drama to the table.
