Is Renee Rapp dating Towa Bird?

Mean Girls star and singer Renee Rapp has all eyes on her once again, this time for possibly making a new relationship red carpet official at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party on March 10.

Rapp, who previously identified as bisexual before casually coming out as a lesbian instead, was previously in a relationship with TikTok star Alissa Carrington, though the star said that she prefers to keep her love life out of the public eye for the most part and stayed fairly silent about their relationship until confirming that the two of them were no longer together.

Now, a red carpet walk at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on March 10 and some super cute photos inside the party have fans thinking that the "Tummy Hurts" singer may have found love once more, this time in the form of Hong Kong-born guitarist and songwriter Towa Bird.

Bird has been on tour with Renee Rapp for her Snow Hard Feelings tour and their appearance at the Vanity Fair party is far from the first time these two have had fans eyeing their chemistry -- videos of the two of them interacting on stage regularly go viral among Rapp's fanbase who just can't deny that the two of them have some kind of connection.

In an interview with The Cut in August 2023, Renee Rapp said the following about what she looks for in a romantic partner: "I'm in a very brunette era. Anybody with, like, brown curly hair is like kryptonite to me."

At the time of her profile with The Cut, her mention of being into brunettes applied to her then-relationship with Carrington, but it's hard to deny that Towa Bird fits the same dark hair description that Rapp called her "kryptonite" last year.

It's not just Rapp's fans that think the two of them are together: Vanity Fair's official TikTok account shared a video of the two of them posing for the photographers with a caption that referred to the red carpet as their couple debut and they were included in a roundup of cute couples at the Oscars.
