Did Kim Richards predict Kyle Richards’ separation?

The news of RHOBH star Kyle Richards‘ separation from Mauricio Umansky came as a major surprise to just about everyone, fans and housewives alike. But it seems like there may be one person who wasn’t as surprised as the rest of us: Kyle’s sister, Kim Richards.

Although Kyle Richards is no stranger to the supernatural, it seems like third sister Kathy Hilton was left out of the connection to the spirit world. According to Kim Richards, when she told Kathy about her dream about Kyle and Mauricio, Kathy simply didn’t believe it — until the news of Kyle’s separation hit the news only days later!

“She was like, ‘What? No!’ I was like, ‘Kathy, I dreamt it last night,’” Kim Richards recalled when speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet for Kathy Hilton’s 2023 Christmas party.

Prior to the news of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky choosing to file for separation, it seemed like the couple was going to find a way to pull through their marital issues, so this was a huge surprise to fans and people close to the couple.

Kim recalled that even her sister Kathy called her back after the news became official. She said that Kathy asked who told her and Kim stuck to her story by responding with, “I told you, I dreamt it!”

Kim and Kyle’s sister, Kathy Richards, said that when she first found out that Kim’s dream was real and the separation had been filed, Kathy said that the news “broke her heart.” On her sister, she said, “Kyle, believe it or not, she’s the youngest but she’s the strongest [and] she’s bossiest … She’s very strong. She’s resilient.”

While attending BravoCon 2023, Kyle Richards mentioned that she’s very specific with her language and corrects people who say that she and Mauricio have divorced. On the red carpet, she said, “Two times, I had to correct someone when they said ‘divorce,’ I said, ‘separated,” and called the pair “amicable.”

Luckily, through this tough time, Kyle Richards can lean on her friend, country singer Morgan Wade. As she and Kathy Hilton rekindle their relationship, Kyle even took her to a Morgan Wade concert and the three of them got tattoos together, with Kim Richards reportedly in attendance but skipping the ink.
