We all have our favorite relationships on Friends. Whether it be the classic Ross and Rachel or the incredibly adorable Phoebe and Mike, it’s easy to ship some of these memorable romances on the long-running sitcom. But when it comes to who the actors have dated around and been married in real life, the history there isn’t as well-known.

Of course, we remember Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s highly-publicized marriage, but what about the rest of the stars of Friends?

Here’s who the cast of Friends is dating and married to in real life, along with some of their most prominent past relationships.

Who is Jennifer Aniston dating?

As fans of Jennifer Aniston probably know, the 52-year-old actress is currently single. Although rumors claimed she and former co-star David Schwimmer had struck up a romance all these years later, that buzz was quickly debunked by a rep of Schwimmer’s. People were certainly disappointed to hear the two were not in fact an item, but we’re just happy they’ve remained close since the series ended.

Aniston’s last publicized relationship was with ex-husband Justin Theroux, who she was married to from 2015 to 2017. Though rumors circulated that their breakup had to do with the two wanting to live in different parts of the country, neither star confirmed that was true. In an interview earlier this year, The Leftovers actor spoke about his split from Aniston, sharing:

"“Like it or not, we didn’t have that dramatic split, and we love each other. I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship. We can not be together and still bring each other joy and friendship. It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally.”"

Before Aniston was married to Theroux, she had her most famous relationship with Brad Pitt. The two actors were husband and wife from 2000 to 2005. Many fans have rallied for the two to rekindle their romance throughout the years, but it looks like they are simply friends now.

Who is Courteney Cox dating?

Monica Geller actress Courteney Cox has also had a few highly-publicized relationships of her own, but currently, she’s dating Johnny McDaid. The musician is part of the popular band Snow Patrol and is from Northern Ireland. The two stars began dating in 2013 and soon got engaged the following year later.

Cox and McDaid broke off their engagement in 2019, however they are now happily dating.

Previously, Cox was married to David Arquette, with who she starred in the Scream movie series. The two were wed in 1999 and divorced in 2003, and they share a daughter together named Coco Arquette.

Is Lisa Kudrow married?

Unlike some of her Friends co-stars, Lisa Kudrow has been in a committed relationship since the ’90s. She married businessman Michel Stern in 1995 and the two share a son together named Julian Murray Stern, who is an actor.

The actress’ pregnancy was actually written into Friends when her character Phoebe Buffay served as a surrogate for her half-brother.

Kudrow doesn’t share too many photos of her husband on her social media, but she does talk about him occasionally during interviews. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2020, the actress spoke about quarantining apart from Stern on their 25th anniversary. “We are so used to not actually being able to be together on our anniversary,” Kudrow said. “We were like, ‘Oh, well. Does it matter? I love you. You still love me? Yeah. Great. We’re good.’”

Is Matt LeBlanc in a relationship?

The lovable Matt LeBlanc memorably played Joey Tribbiani on Friends, the ladies man with tons of charm. But what is the actor’s love life like in real life? Well, news recently hit that LeBlanc and producer/director Aurora Mulligan split. The two started dating in 2016. Currently, the actor looks to be single.

Prior to his current relationship, LeBlanc was married to model Melissa McKnight. The stars said “I do” back in 2003 and called it quits in 2006. Of the split, McKnight’s friend Kelly Phillips told People Magazine: “It was very sudden. [McKnight] was absolutely blindsided by what transpired.”

LeBlanc and McKnight share one daughter together named Marina Pearl LeBlanc.

Is David Schwimmer single?

As we said earlier, Friends fans were super excited to hear the news that Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer might be dating. But, of course, that turned out to be just wishful thinking. As of right now, Schwimmer is single.

The Ross Geller actor was previously married to artist Zoe Buckman from 2010 to 2017. The two share a daughter together named Cleo Buckman Schwimmer.

During the Friends reunion special, Schwimmer and Aniston created a buzz after they admitted they had feelings for one another during the early days of filming. The two claimed they never acted upon it, but the love we saw on screen was certainly real. Perhaps one day the two actors will date in real life, but for now, they are just friends.

Is Matthew Perry dating anyone?

Chandler Bing actor Matthew Perry is newly single after a breakup from Molly Hurwitz. The two were engaged when the Friends alum announced they had called it quits. “Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them,” Perry said in a statement this June. “I wish Molly the best.”

Perry has never been married before, but he has dated a few A-list celebrities throughout the years, namely Julia Roberts, Lauren Graham, and Lizzy Caplan.

Surprisingly, Lisa Kudrow is the only Friends star who’s married! We’ll be curious to see if any of the other actors tie the knot in the coming years.
