Britney Spears addresses ‘skinny’ body in minuscule shorts

Britney Spears isn’t sure why she looks so “skinny” in her latest home video. The singer, making 2021 headlines for vowing to get back into “shape,” looked fighting fit and super-toned in a Thursday night Instagram share, one posted for her 39.2 million followers and bringing both a casual short shorts look and a dolled-up one – Britney had just gone to Mass.

Fresh from a Hawaii vacation with boyfriend Sam Asghari and now back in L.A., the “Womanizer” hit-maker uploaded another of her cute outfit posts, with a caption shouting out everything from her “typical mood” – complete with a mention of sister Jamie Lynn Spears – to her shape.

The video, below, opened with the blonde bombshell smiling all hands on hips and wearing super-tiny and ripped denim shorts, plus a sheer cream top with ruffle shoulder details. Going edgy in fun reflective shades as she struck poses from her living room, the 39-year-old showed off her famous legs, with a swipe right showing a very different look.

Britney, who has just revealed that J Crew is her favorite clothing store, was seen twirling around in a v-neck and patterned blue maxi dress in the second video. A caption explained that the dress had been worn to church.

“I mean this is always an option too … casual … it’s another perspective I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!! This is a typical mood for me as my sister would say …. MOOD !!!! I’m just not sure why I look so skinny here 🤔 …,” Spears began, adding:

"“It’s like I’m tinier with clothes on 🧐😂🙃 !!!??? Pssss as for the next video … I just got back from mass … I’m Catholic now … let us pray 🙏🏼 !!!”"

Three months ago, Britney had addressed her size, even suggesting that she prefers being a little heavier. The blonde revealed feeling envious of 27-year-old beau Sam’s body as she told fans:

“In the past two weeks I’ve said that’s it … I have got to get in shape considering my boyfriend’s body is hotter than hot 🔥🔥🔥 !!!!” continuing: “So I run a lot and try to eat clean and be mindful with my food unless I cheat, like last night when I ate a container of peanuts.”

“I might look better but I felt too vulnerable in my skin being this small !!!!”

The video comes amid a headline-making one as Britney both uses the word “conservatorship” for the first time on Instagram and reveals that she’s doing “way better than I ever anticipated.” A selfie post on Thursday saw the star talk about the cat being “out of the bag” as she discussed being under dad Jamie Spears‘ conservatorship – Britney says she’s coping okay.
