Britney Spears has issued a strong warning to father Jamie Spears. The 39-year-old pop icon, making June headlines for opening up to a Los Angeles court judge regarding her conservatorship, has spoken for the second time – round two brought the “Toxic” singer saying she wants 69-year-old dad Jamie “charged” with “conservatorship abuse.”

Speaking ahead of the weekend and having since made headlines for finally saying #FreeBritney in a cartwheeling Instagram post, the Grammy winner told a judge that she won’t hesitate to press charges against the man controlling her finances and life since 2008.

Britney Spears Says She’ll Be Pressing Charges

Britney’s controversial conservatorship has already brought her saying she feels “traumatized” as she told Judge Brenda Penny that she can’t “sleep.” The singer, alleging she’s also been forced to take Lithium, perform against her will and made to keep in an IUD to prevent a pregnancy, said:

"“I’m here to press charges. I’m angry and I will go there.”"

Alleging that she’s had her coffee and hair vitamins removed from her, the star explosively added: “Mam, that’s not abuse, that’s just f****** cruelty, Excuse my language but it’s the truth.”

Spears, fresh from a lash-out at those who’ve abandoned her – Britney said it was those “closest” to her – had, last month, detailed the painful ordeal of her conservatorship, one seeing her unable to touch her $59 million fortune or make day-to-day decisions. The mom of two also has reduced custody of sons Jayden and Sean as a result of her mental health issues and the conservatorship.

Referencing her carer and former co-conservator Jodi Montgomery, Britney also told the judge:  “My dad needs to be removed today and I will be happy with Jodi helping me.”

Britney had referenced her father many times in her June address, suggesting that he enjoys the power – “Not only did my family not do a goddamn thing, my dad was all for it. Anything that happened to me had to be approved by my dad,” she said.

Britney’s support network was, last night, put into question. Fans assumed the singer’s shade was directed towards 30-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears and 66-year-old mother Lynne Spears. The much-loved blonde is, however, solidly backed by boyfriend Sam Asghari, who made headlines for wearing a #FreeBritney shirt the day before his girlfriend spoke in court.
