The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City started the season 1 reunion last night and it did not disappoint.  The ladies were ready to defend their actions, and some of them did a good job of it.  Others…not so much.  Jen Shah avoided taking responsibility for much and no one on the cast was safe from Lisa Barlow.

Jen’s party for Meredith and not Lisa…but mostly Jen

Meredith Marks was offended all night, mostly about the comments regarding Brooks Marks’ “clothing line,” which consisted of one tracksuit.  Does one tracksuit a clothing line make?  No.  Jen Shah tried to defend the birthday party for Meredith, which was also apparently Lisa Barlow’s actual birthday.  The party was all about Jen, with a sprinkling of Meredith, and not a single mention of it being on Lisa’s birthday.  Jen even got Lisa the world’s smallest cake.

Lisa came to the reunion ready to fight, but the mass amounts of self-tanner on her hands stole the show.  Her main targets seemed to be Heather Gay and Jen, but no one was safe.  She pointed those self-tanner hands all over the place and demanded that production rolled footage when she wanted to prove a point.  Production did roll footage as demanded, but it didn’t prove any of Lisa’s points.

Fashion-forward and fashion backward

Mary Cosby took some heat for her green loofah outfit and her hair throughout the season.  “it’s not for everyone and not everyone can fit into that dress,” she told Andy Cohen.  Whitney Rose discussed some of the surgery she had gotten done before the show, and some of her new additions after filming.  Lisa’s hands looked like she ate bags of Cheetos during commercial breaks and it was very distracting.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City got together to hash out their issues from season one.

As Andy noted at one point, all of this happened more than a year ago.  Jen apologized to Heather at the reunion but apparently not at any point before, which definitely seems disingenuous.

Jen did a good job of not taking responsibility for much throughout the reunion.  They even showed a lot of her wild off-screen antics which matches her behavior on-screen.  Even recently, Jen compared how the women treated her to how George Floyd died.

Part 2 of the reunion is next week, and we might still be left with more questions than answers.  That’s totally in line with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City though, so bring it on!
