Just before filming the last few episodes of RHONY, production has shut down filming for two weeks due to a cast member contracting the virus.

The Real Housewives of New York have been filming for season 13 over the course of a few months, but production has reportedly stopped for a second time due to COVID-19 according to Page Six.  A member of the crew tested positive back in October, which halted RHONY production at that point, but a similar situation has presented itself again.  It isn’t clear who tested positive.   Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan appeared fine in their Instagram stories earlier this week, but perhaps Sonja’s was pre-recorded.

Ramona posted a photo of herself with Luann de Lesseps, Leah McSweeney, and Tinsley Mortimer from last season which sparked all kinds of excitement.  For whatever reason, this sent Dorinda Medley into an absolute tizzy.  Her comment on the photo said, “And,,,,” which then led her to post a video of the group from the finale last year to her own Instagram.  If you recall, her behavior at the finale was basically the nail in the coffin for Dorinda’s time on the show.

While Dorinda is mad about whatever she’s mad about, the rest of the group is upset because this is going to extend filming for another two weeks.  A cast trip scheduled for this week was cancelled and will likely be rescheduled once the cast member feels better.  It sounds like it has been a grueling couple of months trying to adhere to the proper safety measures to keep everyone safe, but it isn’t over yet.

Whoever it is, we hope they recover quickly so they can wrap up filming!  The world needs more RHONY in it, even if their big cast trip is only to exotic upstate New Nork.  Stay safe, everyone!
