Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi have been forced into Chapter 7 bankruptcy and must provide a full list of assets or they will be having a Schitt’s Creek moment.

Erika Girardi and Tom Girardi are doing everything they can to make the situation right!  Just kidding, they have done absolutely nothing to help the victims or themselves.  Thus far, Erika Jayne has continued with her ridiculous lingerie posts on Instagram, even hinting at a dating profile.  Yesterday, after more silence from Tom in court, a judge forced now-defunct Girardi & Keese into chapter 7 bankruptcy.  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has a long road ahead of her, not that she seems to care at all.

If you’ve never watched Schitt’s Creek, the family is forced into bankruptcy after some poor financial decisions.  The opening scenes show the government coming into their home to retrieve assets to be auctioned off to pay their debts.  Even some of Moira’s wigs got taken, which is bad news for all of Erika’s alter egos and their wigs.

According to the United States Courts website, “this chapter of the Bankruptcy Code provides for ‘liquidation’ – the sale of a debtor’s nonexempt property and the distribution of the proceeds to creditors.”  According to Attorney Ronald Richards, this means that all of their assets now belong to the bankruptcy case.  Tom and Erika have 14 days to give a list of all of their assets or they can be found in contempt.

In addition to this, Tom’s lawyer was claiming he was too mentally incompetent to show up to the hearings.  Tom allegedly had his brother to be a conservator for him, claiming he had short term memory loss and could not respond.

Apparently, someone provided a recent video of Tom where he seemed fine and mentally competent.  This angered the judge even more as they seem to be treating this entire case as a joke.

Hopefully, they have enough paper left after the lawsuit from Wells Fargo for $882,715 over office supplies.  We can start by listing off Erika’s tacky clothes from the show if that would help!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo this year!
