Kelly Dodd started her apology tour on WWHL but quickly backtracked on all of the apologies she offered for her behavior, but will she get herself fired?

At some point, Bravo has to put their foot down on all of the things Kelly Dodd has been saying and doing this year.  The Real Housewives of Orange County isn’t exactly known for its scholarly cast, but Kelly isn’t doing them any favors with her obtuse and dangerous attitude.  During Watch What Happens Live on Dec. 2, Andy Cohen made Kelly answer to all the stupid things she did (and said) this year.  She offered her usual hallow apologies, said that masks were essential, and said she believed the pandemic was a big deal.

But that same night, Kelly got on social media and basically backtracked on everything.  She accused Braunwyn Windham-Burke of faking her sobriety for a storyline and posted on Instagram that she and her husband were out in California without being “muzzled and caged” aka wearing a mask.  She has since edited her caption, perhaps at the request of Bravo?

Bravo has been doing everything I can to keep their staff and everyone involved in filming safe.  That doesn’t mean that everyone has the same political views on things, but Kelly certainly isn’t abiding by the rules as she should be.  It makes the channel look stupid and like they don’t have control over people like Kelly.  So, is she going to get herself fired for this behavior?  Or will Bravo just let it slide?

When we posed the question a few weeks ago about if Kelly was entertaining or cruel, most of you found that she was cruel and not entertaining.  Bravo’s attempt at rehabbing her image didn’t work, so where do we go from here?

Kelly might have her entertaining moments but at this point, she’s bringing the cast down with her.  Braunwyn might be stealing all of the attention this season, but Kelly’s views are dangerous and not entertaining.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is on Bravo every Wednesday at 9 PM.
