Bethenny Frankel was on a podcast this week and discussed how she’s found her calling in her own podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel.

Bethenny Frankel was on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino this week and spoke about how she’s been dealing with the pandemic…and her podcast.  Bethenny noted that she had never listened to a podcast (or subscribed to a podcast) before starting hers.  She said that the podcast makes her feel good these days and helps fuel her “natural curiosity.”

The former Real Housewives of New York cast member discussed having Hillary Clinton on the show in addition to some of her other guests, such as Paris Hilton and Mark Cuban.

"“It’s not like it’s this massive conversation… it’s more of an intimate conversation.  It was a conversation between two women about relationships, about being a woman, relationships while having a high pressured life and that balance.”"

Bethenny commented that she feels like she has finally found her calling with the podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel, which is interesting considering how many different ventures she’s been a part of.  This includes salad dressing, preserves, popcorn, margaritas, pants, and shapewear.

The mogul was fairly transparent about how many times she tried to start something like her podcast on Sirus Radio, but after she famously dumped a drink on someone at a Coldplay concert, then Spotify, then iHeartRadio, then Westwood One, before finally coming to an agreement with Endeavor Audio with the help of Andy Cohen.

Bethenny was quick to say that she felt her podcast was doing well because people missed her voice and because she was turning down other opportunities.  She’s currently working on television shows such as The Big Shot with Bethenny on HBO Max, in addition to all of the work she has done during the pandemic with BStrongBStrong and  Global Empowerment Mission helped donate PPE to those in need.  “I like to do one thing at a time very well,” she quipped.

In closing, Bethenny said being on the housewives felt very far away from where she currently is.  She said for a while she still felt curious about it, almost FOMO (fear of missing out) but it sounds like that ship has sailed.  Thanks for the insight, B!

The Real Housewives of New York City will be back on Bravo for reruns!
