Bethenny Frankel is a busy lady but can she make time in her schedule for a return to The Real Housewives of New York?  Only time will tell!

Say it isn’t so!  Us Weekly is reporting that Bethenny Frankel and her boyfriend Paul Bernon have broken up after two years together.  When the pair started dating, Bethenny started spending a lot of time in Boston where Paul lived.  She sold some of her New York homes and even got a place in Boston so she could be close to him.  But since that’s apparently over, will Bethenny find herself spending more time back in the city that never sleeps?

With all of the changes coming to The Real Housewives of New York, will this breakup be the catalyst to seeing Bethenny back with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan?  In addition to that, Eboni K. Williams has joined the cast and would be the perfect sparring partner for Bethenny upon her return.  Of course, if Bethenny did return, it would likely be in a reduced fashion – at least for this season.

Since Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer are both gone, there is definitely room for Bethenny among the rest of the ladies.  We know they are trying to skew younger to appeal to a different audience set, but Bethenny has a strong fan base on her own that would bring some viewers back regardless of her age.

However, don’t mistake this return for a sudden surge in free time.  We know Bethenny really does it all.  Between her charity work with B. Strong, raising her daughter, running new television shows and a new podcast, it’s not like she’s bored.  Bethenny has been an integral part of the housewives as a whole, and that won’t change if she doesn’t come back to the show.

It has been a hard year for everyone, and breakups are not abnormal with the state of the world, but it is still sad when long term relationships come to an end.  We hope Bethenny and Paul are doing okay in the wake of their split.

The Real Housewives of New York City will be back on Bravo for reruns!
