Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Delusions of grandeur and pointless arguing

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion part 3 was just another opportunity for Lisa Rinna to harass Denise Richards.

As with the rest of the reunion, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion part 3 was full of Lisa Rinna being a terrible person and Denise Richards being over the whole thing.  When they got into the texts between Denise and Brandi Glanville, Rinna had printed out the entire conversation.  When Denise said she would show her texts with her, Rinna obviously flipped out.

“It’s not about me!  Those are private!”  Imagine that?  Someone wanting something in their life private?  Rinna continued screaming about how Denise was a liar.  “Why do you care?” Garcelle Beauvais asked Rinna as she continued screaming.  And Garcelle has a good point – why is Rinna so obsessed with Denise?

When Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave came at Garcelle about not supporting other women it was hilarious to watch them reply.  Denise noted that she was not going to see Erika Jayne on Broadway because she wasn’t invited and Andy said it was because she was “suing them” at that time.  To be clear, that was probably most of the reason she wasn’t going.  But it sounds like no one made an effort to reach out to actually invite her, either.  A perfect opportunity to drag her again.

It seems clear by now that Denise was done with the show months ago, but we don’t blame her.  She was clearly checked out by the time they got to the reunion and was only contractually obligated to be there.  It felt like Andy Cohen was very focused on making Denise look stupid, too.  He appeared to be on team Rinna, which was sad to see.  The way he framed his questions was not in an inquisitive manner, but an accusatory one.

Rinna proved what a horrible person and friend she was last night.  As Denise said, she turned on her and made her a target.  Denise was very obviously the target this season and Rinna was willing to lose a real friendship over it.  Rinna said she wished that Denise would have come to her so they could move forward.  At this point, Denise did the right thing by simply walking away.

The whole season can be summed up with: Denise doesn’t support other women after being mercilessly dragged through the mud publically for months after the town floozy wanted to get back on television.  How dare she!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back next year on Bravo.
