Vanderpump Dogs, the newest show for Lisa Vanderpump, was announced to be coming to the new Peacock streaming service from NBCUniversal.

During a special episode of 30 Rock on NBCUniversal’s new streaming platform, Peacock, a new show for Lisa Vanderpump was quietly announced.  In the midst of a list of new, exclusive shows, Lisa’s Vanderpump Rules intro played with the title “Vanderpump Dogs, A Peacock Original.”  It seems, based on the lack of actual show content, that the idea might be in the beginning stages.

Thus far, there are no other details about the show.  Vanderpump Dogs is The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s rescue and adoption center in Los Angeles, California.  Various Vanderpump Rules cast members such as Lala Kent and Raquel Leviss have been shown working or hanging out at the store.

If you remember correctly, Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy, the driving force behind the sole storyline in season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was adopted by Dorit Kemsley there and was later returned.

Vanderpump Dogs will hopefully focus on the responsibilities that come with adopting an animal so that people like Dorit might be dissuaded from taking home a dog just to return it later.

Just last night, the foundation announced that they had found homes for over 1600 dogs in need.  If you are interested in learning more about adopting a dog or would like to see some of the companions currently available for adoption, you can check out the Vanderpump Dogs website.  Little Bentley or Mason would love to be adopted!

There has been no word yet on the fate of the original Vanderpump Rules since all of the firings, and no word on why Jax Taylor seems to have kept his job thus far.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on Bravo on Wednesdays at 9 PM ET.
