Real Housewives of Dallas: Is Brandi Redmond out for season five?
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of Dallas are in a transitional period with their cast, but who will make it to season five and who will be left behind?
The Real Housewives of Dallas had an explosive season that ended with LeeAnne Locken getting fired for her racist comments about Kary Brittingham. Shortly after that, LeeAnne had her minions release a video of Brandi Redmond mocking the looks of the Asian community, which didn’t go very well either. Brandi checked herself into a “wellness center” and did her apology tour, but was it enough to secure her spot for season five?
According to rumors, filming for season five starts on Monday, June 1st. Stephanie Hollman, D’Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott, and Kary are rumored to be back, but Brandi removed the show from her Instagram account, but not her Twitter. People love to do this to stir up drama, but the timing is suspicious. There are two new Dallas ladies, Tiffany Moon and Jennifer Davis Long, supposedly joining the cast.
Tiffany is an anesthesiologist, according to her Instagram bio, and Jennifer works in real estate. Jennifer just happens to have red hair like Brandi, too. Is there room for two redheads on the cast?
Andy Cohen made it clear at the season four reunion that LeeAnne’s comments were unacceptable, so would it be fair to give Brandi a pass for her actions? Brandi was the most vocal when criticizing LeeAnne, too. There’s been no confirmation Brandi has been asked back at this point, but since filming starts this week, we should be able to figure it out pretty soon.
If Brandi stays on and both new women are confirmed, that’s seven housewives. RHOD has never had more than six housewives. In fact, during season two, they only have four wives and a friend of, Tiffany Hendra. Seven seems like a bit of a crowd if you ask us…
The Real Housewives of Dallas will be back on Bravo later this year.
