Sutton Stracke had enough drama for her first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but not enough permission to film her life.

Sutton Stracke joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season ten as a full-time wife but was demoted before the season aired.  Sutton had apparently filmed solo-scenes and was expected to be featured the same amount as the rest of the cast, but could not come to an agreement about the children being on television.  Sutton’s ex-husband, Christian Stracke, said that he would not agree to the kids filming with her so she was demoted, as reported by People.

Sutton was on Kate Casey’s podcast, Reality Life with Kate Casey, where she discussed the drama.  She also discussed her former work as a ballet dancer and choreographer.  Sutton said, “My ex-husband just was adamant that they could not film with me.”  She went on to say she understood why he would feel that way, but was ultimately sad about the decision.

Since we are only seeing one side of Sutton, the side that cries and yells at dinner, it makes her seem cold and uninteresting.  Part of the fun of a new housewife is being able to get to know them and their family.  We did get to see Sutton at home with Kyle Richards, but we only got to meet her cats.

While speaking with Kate, Sutton said she wished that viewers were able to see the “softer side” of her when she’s with her family.  “It’s clearly not that interesting. But it’s the soft underbelly of who these women are. And I’m sorry that we can’t see that this season.”  She mentioned she did ballet from the time she was six years old and studied modern dance once she got to college.  Her las performance was when she was 33 years old!

Sutton seems to have enough drama with the other ladies, including Dorit Kemsley and Lisa Rinna, when she mentioned she had an issue with one of Rinna’s friends.  Sutton mentioned that she went to an all-girls college and that she’s a “girl’s girl” so she’s no stranger to large groups of women.

Perhaps her husband will change his mind as time goes on because Sutton seems to be doing a good job of mingling with the cast.  That doesn’t necessarily mean they like her, but that she’s been able to work her way into the tight-knit group.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be back Wednesday at 8 PM on Bravo!
