RHOP: The drama with Monique Samuels continues with more “FAKERY”

The ladies of RHOP can’t seem to avoid the drama no matter what they do, this time with a silly Instagram challenge that went awry.

Though RHOP season five has been pushed back to later this summer due to a lack of programming, there is no shortage of drama with the cast in the meantime.  While the ladies are at home with their families, they worked together on the “don’t rush” challenge.  If Ashley Darby had simply caption her Instagram post without mentioning it, there probably would have been less of a reaction.

But instead, Ashley captioned her Instagram post and said that Monique Samuels did not have time to participate in the video.  Ashley said Monique was “working on a very special project so she sat this one out (purely her choice).”  The entire comment section was asking about Monique instead of on the content of the video (which is just the women getting dressed up).

Monique responded on twitter and said that she wasn’t excluded from the video, but turned it down.   “I couldn’t get down with the FAKERY. They ghosted me last year, now we chummy?”  Ashley has a tendency to cling to anyone who can take the heat off her own strained relationship, so it is not shocking that she’s on Monique’s side.  If Monique is worried about fakery, she should look at her friend Ashley first!

In the comments of her tweet, Monique clarified that she watched Ashley and Karen Huger’s parts in the video.  I guess that tells us what the teams are for the fifth season.  A commenter insinuated that Monique should be a team player and do the video with the rest of the cast, but she clarified that doing a TikTok wasn’t part of her job OR required by bravo.  Hopefully, that means Monique is sticking around?

There has been a ton of drama surrounding the fight that left Candiace Dillard Bassett filing assault charges on Monique.  This caused the group to choose sides, and apparently not many of the ladies chose Monique’s side.  Monique filed charges back against Candiace, but eventually, all of the charges were dropped.

Both Monique and Candiace have been tweeting about one another since the fourth season ended and it only seems to get worse.  Now that the fifth season has been postponed, we can probably anticipate more vague tweets from both sides.
