After a long wait and so much drama in the off season, the trailer for season five of The Real Housewives of Potomac is finally here!

In these crazy times, we have been gifted the gift of the season five Real Housewives of Potomac trailer!  Behind the scenes, the drama with Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard was at an all time high after their fight at the end of 2019.  Monique was charged with assault and was ultimately not allowed on the cast trip before charges against her (and Candiace) were dropped altogether.

PEOPLE has the trailer for season five, which will be back Sunday, August 2 at 9 PM.  Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Monique, Candiace and new housewife Wendy Osefo will not be practicing their finest etiquette this season – in fact, it seems like the opposite.  The fight between Monique and Candiace seems to be the main focus this season with the wives divided by the altercation.

Newcomer Wendy is “a Nigerian-American professor, political analyst, entrepreneur,” and mother, according to PEOPLE.  But overshadowing her newness is the admission from Michael Darby that he did, in fact, take strippers back to a hotel room (…allegedly).  If you recall, Michael’s missteps were a huge part of Ashley’s storyline last year and neither came out unscathed.  Will Ashley finally admit what we’ve all been saying for a while now?

The issue with Monique seems to seep into the relationships with the other ladies as Gizelle is seen saying she doesn’t want to be around her after the altercation.
