Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: The thing about Sutton Stracke…

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is getting used to their new cast additions but Sutton isn’t exactly making it easy on herself.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season ten is off to a good start with two new additions, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke.  Garcelle seems to have effortlessly made her way into the circle of friends, but Sutton has not.  During the first few episodes, Sutton commented on the other RHOBH cast members lack of “couture” clothing, while she herself looked like she got dressed in the dark.

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave gave the ladies a weird invitation where she invited them on an “All In by Teddi” retreat but didn’t actually want or need them there.  Typical Teddi.  But Sutton did not appreciate this wishy-washy invitation and said she would rather not go if she wasn’t wanted.  Thus far, Sutton’s judgments on clothing have not been appreciated either.  She says she is Southern and blunt, but she just comes off a rude.

There were rumors swirling that Sutton didn’t “mesh” with the cast and that’s why she was demoted.  It has mostly been confirmed that her demotion was due to an issue with her ex-husband and sharing her family on the show, which is why she is so heavily featured.  Many of her solo-scenes were removed at the last minute.  But, it really does seem that she isn’t meshing well with the cast.

At the dinner party at Kyle Richards new home, the ladies were going around the table giving fake compliments to one another.  When it was Sutton’s turn, she complimented Teddi by saying she thought she was boring.  It was incredibly awkward as everyone looked on, including Teddi’s husband.

On one hand, Teddi takes herself much too seriously sometimes, but on the other hand, she’s pregnant!  Leave Teddi alone!  Teddi also says she is direct until someone else directly tells her she’s boring – then she realized she wasn’t at all direct.

We are only three episodes in and the trajectory of the season shows Sutton’s likeability is going to go down as time wears on.  if that is the case, we can’t wait to watch it happen.  Say couture one more time, Sutton!
