RHOSL: Andy Cohen gave an update on the Salt Lake City franchise
By Amanda Cline
After announcing the newest franchise, RHOSL, we didn’t hear much about it, but the first episode is done according to Andy Cohen!
Andy Cohen took to Instagram live earlier this week and spilled some tea about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Apparently, filming is complete and the first episode is done! He told a fan who asked about the newest endeavor for Bravo and said he thought it was “really promising.” Andy also confirmed that rumored wife, Whitney Rose, was joining the RHOSL cast.
Another likely addition is Lisa Barlow, who owns the tequila company Vida Tequila. Jen Shah was also a likely housewife who started some drama already with The Real Housewives of Dallas star, Brandi Redmond.
Jen took a redeye flight to Dallas to fight with Brandi in person after Brandi mentioned that Jen was renting a house from her friend for the show. Nothing happened once she got to Dallas, as far as we know.
According to ET, Andy told the audience back in November, “Expect mountains, expect snow and expect, you know, some Mormons.” He went on to add, “A production company brought us unbelievable women, and the cool thing about Salt Lake City is, they’re leading these aspirational lives.”
According to The Daily Dish podcast by Bravo, Senior VP of Current Production, Noah Samton, said they don’t take the housewives title lightly, and he felt RHOSL was going to live up to the hype. Filming was rumored to wrap in March, so hopefully, they got all of the footage needed before production on most shows came to a halt.
There is no premiere date or trailer date as of now, but it appears the season is being worked on by production at home for now.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will be on Bravo later this year – hopefully!
