Most viewers watch Real Housewives on Bravo for an escape from their reality, which is why we’ve compiled a list of some of the most memorable episodes.
It’s the perfect time to do a re-watch of some of our favorite episodes from past seasons (and even past franchises). Below is a list of some of the finest episodes of Bravo’s Real Housewives that will be sure to transport you back to 2009 or 2012, a fine time for television.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Season 1, Episode 13 – Unforgivable
This episode is the one with the limo fight. You know the one. It’s 2011. Were in a limo. Kim Richards has a pearl choker necklace on. Kyle Richards let the secret out that Kim had a problem with alcohol after she accused Kyle of stealing her house. Meanwhile, in New York, Camille Grammer came to the conclusion that her marriage was over after an awkward award show with her now ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Season 5, Episode 7 – I Do… But, I Won’t
This was back in the day when Kenya was shady but entertaining. She really had the whole act perfected when she gave us her “gone with the wind fabulous” line as she twirled away. She has a pedigree, you know? The ladies were confused about Kenya’s relationship with Walter and said she didn’t “act” like she was in a relationship with him. Sound familiar?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Season 1, Episode 9 – The Dinner Party From Hell
Known lovingly by viewers as “the dinner party from hell,” this RHOBH episode consisted of a dinner party at Camille’s house, complete with a token psychic friend. Allison DuBois casually puffed on her old school electronic cigarette while she school Kyle on her marriage. “Your husband will never emotionally fulfill you.” *puff* “So know that,” Allison told Kyle.
The Real Housewives of Orange County: Season 8, Episode 14 – The Cold War
Lauri Peterson accused Vicki Gunvalson of having a threesome at some point in the show and they decided to fight it out on top of a mountain. “I HAVE NEVER BEEN WITH MULTIPLE PARTNERS IN MY LIFE!” Vicki finished that statement off with, “you’re filthy.” She also told Lauri to shut her stupid mouth while holding skis. It was a classic Vicki meltdown over a miscommunication.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Season 1, Episode 6 – The Last Supper
I feel like this one is cheating. The finale of season 1 took place at a party for a christening. Teresa Giudice was discussing her love of oysters and Joe Giudice before discussing her new “bubbies.” But right after that came the fight with Danielle Staub where Teresa flipped the table while shouting, “Prostitution whore! You were engaged 19 times!” That sentence was a doozy but it also cemented RHONJ in history. People who have never watched the Real Housewives even know about the lady who flipped a table. Thank you, OG Teresa.
The Real Housewives of New York: Season 8, Episode 20 – Say It Ain’t So
Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer discussed through tears that Tom D’Agostino was cheating on Luann de Lesseps at The Regency hotel. Luann promptly called Tom on the phone and he denied it. Bethenny claimed the makeout session began at 10:45 PM and lasted through 12:39 PM which is a very strange detail. It seemed like a producer was feeding Bethenny information from another source but it was painfully awkward all around – and a joy to watch.
The Real Housewives of Miami: Season 2, Episode 10 – A Better or Bitter Place
This was an epic episode that was dubbed “Miami’s Dinner Party from Hell” for many reasons. Joanna Krupa and Adriana De Moura were screaming at one another over poor Marysol Patton after a few martinis. Lea Black said the girls were “slapping each other” with their words. Sky tops, painted martini glasses, and a lovely dinner on the water where the girls screamed at each other for hours made this the picturesque setting for the best performing RHOM episode ever.
The Real Housewives of Potomac: Season 4, Episode 10 – Showdown at the Hoedown
Ashley Darby was ill full-blown denial mode over all of the bad press from her husband’s butt grabbing nonsense, while Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels fought in flannel. Candiace came for Monique for sticking up for Ashley for no reason. Candiace said Monique was “chastizing” her when Monique promised to “drag her” while 8 months pregnant. Drag me, Monique! To top it off, this was a hoedown planned by Katie Rost, so you know it was a weird vibe from the get-go.
Obviously, with so many episodes to choose from, this list could go on forever. Did I miss some of your favorite Bravo moments? Let me know in the comments if I did. Maybe your favorite will make the list next time!
