On Sunday night, Jeff’s Southern Charm New Orleans co-star, Tamica Lee, posted for her Instagram stories that she was sending prayers to Jeff Charleston. Jeff has had some medical issues and scares relating to his career in football, a few of which were documented on the show. In the first season, his-then-wife-now-ex-wife, Reagan Charleston, told Jeff it wasn’t the right time for them to have a baby. By the time the next season aired, the pair had divorced, Reagan was pregnant and about to be remarried.
Since then, Jeff has been doing his own thing and went on a motorcycle trip around the US. But early last week, Jeff was in an accident on his motorcycle and ended up in the ICU. Jeff has not been active on social media since the accident, but reports say he will require multiple surgeries following the mishap.
Jeff has been riding his motorcycle all over since October, from Cherokee Rock in Alabama, through Arizona, New Mexico, and all the way to the Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina. He’s had a lot of time while the group isn’t filming, and there hasn’t been any news that filming will resume anytime soon. Now that Jeff is in the hospital somewhere, it might slow things down even more. The producers for the original Southern Charm just scrapped all of the footage for season 7 and decided they will start from scratch in the new year.
Southern Charm New Orleans usually airs around August, so hopefully, the crew will be back together soon for a third season. I really need Jon Moody and his turtleneck sweaters back on my screen to carry me through 2020.
Southern Charm New Orleans will hopefully be back on Bravo next year!
