The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband, Mauricio Umansky, has been hit with another lawsuit following his record-breaking home sale.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast as a whole has been plagued with lawsuits over the years.  Many people consider this to be something that comes with the territory of making a lot of money, but at what point are the lawsuits the sign of something bigger?

Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky, has been in hot water of the sale of a $70 million home that belonged to the son of the President of Equatorial Guinea.  His company, The Agency, is at the forefront of all the suits. This is the third lawsuit to stem from the sale of the home.

The initial lawsuit

Stated that Umansky knowingly listed the home under market value in order to benefit himself.  This is the third lawsuit to come from the sale of the home.  He purchased the home and flipped it later for almost double the initial sale price of $34 million.

Umansky was initially being sued by a company brought in for the sale and is now being sued by Sam Hakim, a potential buyer for the property.  Hakim is now saying that when he tried to make an offer on the house, Umansky told him not to put the offer into writing – knowing he wanted to purchase property for himself.

Hakim is suing to recoup profits

A cool $35 million in missed profits. Umansky was initially sued by the seller who sued for the loss of profit, which was for $8 million. This lawsuit is ongoing between the seller, The Agency, and the Agency’s insurance company.

The Agency is being sued by their insurance company, saying they should not be responsible for the other lawsuit’s payment since what Umansky did was shady and not necessarily covered. The agency counter-sued. The Agency and the insurance company settled and decided to drop both cases, but on the condition that The Agency is responsible for its own fees and damages in relation to the case.

The third lawsuit is the one brought on by Sam Hakim due to his loss of potential profit on the sale of the home.  Since Umansky did not disclose the offer, this again was a shady business tactic.

Kyle has been adamant the lawsuits are no big deal and for the most part, refuses to discuss the issue on camera.  Thankfully her co-stars had plenty of legal drama to discuss themselves last season, but will she be able to keep this one off our television screens next season?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming for the next season.
