Southern Charm: The Roast of Craig, Now With More Austen

Last week on Southern Charm, we had the roast of Craig Conover.  This week, we have the roast of Austen Kroll. Dick moves, indeed.

The Southern Charm boys are really awful at camping.  Shep Rose manages to scramble some eggs for breakfast before they are off to Nashville to stay in a penthouse.  One night of camping is enough!

There is a strange divide in the group of guys that is clearly Shep Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith vs. Craig Conover and Austen Kroll.  The boys go out, bring girls back, get a hangover.  The usual.

Shep has a lot of opinions about everyone else, for someone that literally does nothing but party.  Perhaps he’s jealous of Craig’s love for pillows?  No joke.  I don’t think Shep loves anything.

Everyone wants to know: did Kathryn Dennis and Whitney hooked up.

Kathryn told everyone, but Whitney is still denying it.  It sounds like Patricia already knows the hook-up happened, so I don’t know why Whitney is denying it.  Maybe he’s still friends with Thomas Ravenel?

Chelsea goes over to Kathryn’s $6,600 a month five-story home to chat about her friendship with Danni Baird.

Kathryn mentions that Danni has seen all of the Kathryns: Crazy Kathryn, Pregnant Kathryn, The Thomas and Kathryn Kathryn, and the Current Kathryn.  It is clear that Kathryn realizes that Danni is a good friend to her and she should appreciate that, not push her away.

No Boys Allowed

Patricia Altschul throws an artichoke party for the girls, with no boys allowed. I’m unsure where the artichokes fit in, besides being delicious.

All the girls are in attendance: Kathryn Dennis, Naomie Olindo, Madison LeCroy, Chelsea Meissner, and Cameran Eubanks. Kathryn even brought backup, a second Madison.

They all sit around and google Kathryn’s boyfriend, including some naked pictures of him out on the wild wild west that is the internet. They have since broken up. Maybe it was the ken doll photos?

The ladies delicately eat whole artichokes as Patricia guides them through the process.

A parting thought

Shep seems to take an interest in harassing anyone that defies him.  He hit on Madison and Madison turned him down, now he has nothing but negative things to say about her.  He even went on Watch What Happens Live to say she was a white trash hairdresser again.

I’m wondering if his treatment of Craig could have something do with him Craig not worshipping Shep at every turn.  That’s not very Southern Charm of you, Shep.
