Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump are two of the most popular RHOBH cast members. So why the dogged war?

Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump have entertained fans of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills for many seasons. But a new report and recent RHOBH episodes hint that Kyle and Lisa have turned their friendship into a feud.

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills feud flares

Richards and Vanderpump have previously gone through highs and lows in their friendship, noted Us Weekly.

It was Kyle who issued that memorable quote: “In Beverly Hills, fame and money come and go, but friends should not.”

However, although Richards has held onto her fame and her money, her friendship with Vanderpump may not survive this season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

The feud flared after Dorit Kemsley adopted a puppy, Lucy, from Lisa’s rescue center, Vanderpump Dogs. And from there, the tale ended up with some rough bark (sorry, not sorry) when news spread that the adopted pup had been turned into a kill shelter.

On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, friendships go to the dogs

Oh, and for those who think that these reality TV shows are never ever scripted, ahem…

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp claimed that Lisa urged her and her Vanderpump Dog staff to discuss the dog drama on camera, turning it into a main storyline for RHOBH.

That turned into media headlines, and Kyle turned into judge and jury as she questioned Vanderpump. Battle broke out (well, verbal warfare anyway), and Lisa’s husband Ken removed Richards from their home.

Can friendships survive dog drama on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills?

So now the ultimate question: Can Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards throw the dogs a bone (or two) and mend their friendship? Or will their feud continue onto the next season?

Our take on it: We think that these two Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills stars are exceptionally strong women used to winning arguments. And while we support Lisa’s devotion to animals, we hope she’ll be equally devoted to fixing this friendship.
