Joe Giudice has been released from jail, but isn’t exactly a free man
By Ellie Hirsch
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice has been released from prison, but there’s a major catch to the terms of his release.
Okay, perhaps not really breaking news, but for Real Housewives of New Jersey fans, this is a big moment. Sing it with me…”Should I stay or should I go?”. More like, is Joe Giudice going to be allowed to stay in the country.
Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, was released from prison after a 41 month sentence and released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). If you live under a rock, Joe never claimed U.S. citizenship and therefore is in jeopardy of being deported to Italy, where he was born. According to Huff Post, he will remain in the custody of ICE until he secures a court date to appeal the deportation. So while Joe was released, he is far from free.
At the reunion, Teresa Giudice gave the impression she was ready to move on with her life, Joe or no Joe. Aren’t we so curious to see what Joe looks like these days? Apparently, he lost a ton of weight. Maybe he and Teresa can do a body building contest together if he stays. Or…perhaps Teresa is already participating in body contests with someone else???
In all seriousness, this all sounds like a new nightmare for Teresa and her girls to get through, which no one wishes on anyone. Hopefully they will continue to stay strong and live their lives. Teresa did seem to be unraveling this past season and at the reunion, seemed totally out of it.
Are Melissa and Joe Gorga being supportive? In front of Andy and the gals and guys at the reunion, Joe mentioned that whatever makes Teresa happy is what he will support. Maybe Joe should get on board with supporting Melissa and her boutique!!! ARGH! I am still annoyed with that. Aren’t you?
Anyway, back to Joe Giudice. A few years ago Teresa would have totally picked up everything and followed him there. Now…not so much. She’s pissed, but can we blame her? Is there someone else in the picture?
We will of course keep you posted as we learn more, or rather as more “breaking news” interrupts our regularly scheduled programing.
