Lisa Rinna returns to RHOBH, vowing to be ‘nice’
By Paula Staton
Lisa Rinna returned for Season 8 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Can she keep her promise to be nice this time around?
Lisa Rinna has returned! She has said this season she will be “nice” to the group and refrain from causing problems. I find this hard to believe as she is too outspoken she is bound to stray from her promise.
The first few episodes seemed to get the fans familiar with the new gal Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Another thing I noticed is the first episode focused on waiting for the grand entrance of Lisa. She appeared at the very end of the first episode like a grande dame arriving to greet her subjects.
The nice attitude won’t last long for Rinna or any of the gals!
There was a lot of eye-rolling and “looks” among the other gals when she arrived. That attitude is destined to start a heated issue sooner or later as Lisa noticed the reaction to her entrance. She still maintained she was going to take the high road and stay civil.
Dorit Kemsley, I believe, was the first of the group to test Lisa’s calmness by once again, pinning her down during the very fancy Ferris wheel in Las Vegas. Dorit is still on a rant about last season’s issues with Rinna.
One thing none of these gals can do is forget about something and let it go. They will beat that dead horse until nothing is left. Speaking of Vegas, once again they have fancy digs to spend the weekend in. I am sure it is, as always, thanks to Bravo for footing the bill. This trip was a joint birthday party celebration which was pretty low key so far.

Erika Girard is back and as for my personal opinion of her, I am not a fan. She still comes across as a gold digger who left her young son years ago to marry the father she never had. In fact her husband, he said was OLDER than her father. Not sure if I would be bragging about that fact although I am sure Mr. Girardi’s bank balance makes up for the age difference.
Erika still obviously believes that dressing like a cheap piece of meat is attractive. I find her choice of dressing way over the top and I believe you ARE what you wear. So she surely is not one that can be admired or copied.
PK was in the episodes too along with Jagger, the son. Dorit seems to be so glad to be around her son. It made me think she hasn’t spent much time with him in the past and has given those motherly duties over to the multiple nannies she hired. I do hope PK is done “peeking” at Erika and doesn’t get a hankering to peek at Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave.
It’s a bit too early to judge Teddi
Teddi appears to be pretty level-headed. I try not to judge a new housewife until more episodes have aired. She made a good impression on me at the roulette table in Las Vegas. She appeared to not be a big spender and knew the value of a dollar. Dorit and Erika on the other hand, threw caution to the wind while forking over their husband’s money. I did sense some problems developing between Erika and Teddi. Those two might be the first to go at it.
Next: First divorce and now a lawsuit, Carlton Gebbia's life is kinda crazy right now
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump are still thick as thieves. Kyle also insinuated a problem between herself and Harry Hamlin when they met on a walk and Harry inquired about Kim and “what was to be done with her”. Actually, I am wondering the same thing about Kim. Will she show up this season as usual? Or will she stay away as she should?
More on the gals as the season progresses! Until then, keep watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo on Tuesday night at 8/7 central!
