Danielle Staub denies being the villain on Seasons 1 and 2 of RHONJ. Apparently, she was watching a different show than the rest of us.

On Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle Staub has acted completely different than she did in past season. She has befriended Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, which is a huge change. The only person that Danielle is even sparring with is Dolores Catania, who recently flipped out on RHONJ and called Staub a scumbag.

It turns out that Danielle may have made her grand re-entry on Real Housewives of New Jersey many seasons ago. Staub claims she was blocked from the Bravo show by other RHONJ cast members who just couldn’t stand her.

When pressed to reveal which cast members kept her away, Danielle Staub quickly pointed the finger at former RHONJ stars Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo. It turns out that big bad Danielle claims to be scared of her former co-stars.

“I almost came back a few times, and it was the eleventh hour. I was scared,” Danielle admitted on The Daily Dish Podcast.

“Caroline was still on the show. I gotta tell you something, I’m not violent. Inside I’m broken. When I was walking away from the reunion during Season 2, I looked so calm, cool, and collected. I come from abuse from when I was little all the way up. You just have a tendency that when you meet a bear in the woods, you don’t get intimated by it.”

Danielle even went so far as to blame Jacqueline and Caroline for the breakdown of her friendship with Teresa Giudice. Danielle claimed that she wasn’t the bad guy that everyone thought she was. Instead, she claims that her Bravo co-stars created a level of toxicity that caused the rift between herself and Teresa.

“They are toxic at the highest level of toxicity. It’s arsenic that they feed you. If they would have left Teresa and I alone, we would have had a beautiful relationship. They made her feel like she was the one who had to defend them.”

It’s a good thing that Jacqueline Laurita isn’t on Real Housewives of New Jersey again this season. From the way Danielle Staub was speaking during the podcast, she likely wouldn’t have signed on had Laurita been a part of the cast. Danielle made it clear that she doesn’t want Jacqueline to ever be a part of her life again due to how toxic she is.
