Margaret Josephs has already been accused of using Siggy Flicker to get a spot on RHONJ.

One thing is for sure about Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey. The RHONJ ladies started off the season on a seriously high note and they haven’t backed down from the drama yet. Margaret Josephs may be the new girl but she’s proving to be just as conniving as everyone else after ditching Siggy Flicker almost immediately and buddying up with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.

Yes, Siggy, we also noticed just how quickly Margaret ran for the “big stars” of RHONJ despite having been brought in by you. Most people in Siggy’s position would feel a little bit salty about it all. Oh, and used. Definitely used.

It turns out that Margaret also has some feelings about things that have happened in the first weeks of RHONJ taping. She’s speaking out about what happened at that dinner in Boca and why she feels that Siggy Flicker is in the wrong here even though it was her dinner party and her cake that was destroyed.

The RHONJ drama

If you missed the Season 8 premiere of RHONJ, it’s worth going back to watch. During the episode, Siggy presented Melissa Gorga with a beautiful, custom-made birthday cake. She even commented that the dessert cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,000 to make.

Soon after cutting the culinary masterpiece, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga started a food fight. The sisters-in-law got a little extra while throwing cake at the swanky restaurant, clearly something that mortified Siggy.

Naturally, Siggy Flicker blew up at her RHONJ pals, feeling that the cake throwing was rude and obnoxious. She went off on everyone, claiming to be totally embarrassed that they made a scene in her hometown. To prove her point, Siggy also started yelling and even threw her wine before finally leaving.

Margeret Josephs befriends everyone else

The following day, Margaret Josephs took off with Melissa, Teresa, and Danielle Staub to perform a wreath laying at the beach. It was something she had put together special with Teresa in mind since she recently lost her mother.

Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania were not there and it turns out that may be due to Siggy ignoring text messages that morning. However, since Siggy brought her into the group, shouldn’t she have already known about the plans?

In any case, leaving out Siggy and Dolores obviously caused more hurt feelings and deepened the growing divide between Siggy and Margaret.

Real Housewives of New Jersey went back over the drama during episode 2 and it turns out that no one has forgotten the cake incident. Especially not Margaret Josephs, who has completely turned on Siggy now.

More from Real Housewives of New Jersey

In her Bravo blog, Margaret Josephs spoke at length about what happened in Boca. She says that the Siggy she knows is way different from this Boca Siggy that showed up on the RHONJ trip.

“No friend of mine has ever cursed me out like that,” Margeret wrote. “And to add further insult to injury, then be called ‘classless.’ Like, what? Oh, and then to announce that they have the highest IQ in the group…I mean…I’ll let you make your own mind up on that one. I don’t even know what ‘explain we’re from Jersey’ even means. It’s condescending and insulting. Does Siggy think she’s better than us Jersey girls? Again, I’ll defer to you on that…”

Based on Margeret’s post, it sounds like she’s still trying to turn everyone against Siggy. So much for bringing her on the show. Where’s the thanks for that?

Margaret Josephs went on to talk about how Siggy left her hanging in Boca and she was the new girl so it was so awkward. Apparently, Danielle Staub came to her rescue so she ended up being just fine.

That didn’t stop her from taking aim at Siggy Flicker’s only ally on the whole trip. It makes me think she was trying to turn Dolores Catania against her best friend too.

“Dolores has Siggy’s back 5000%, and I respect that,” Margeret wrote. ” But, no matter what she says or does, Dolores finds no fault—ever. I know love is blind, but…come on.

Watch out for Margeret Josephs

Do you really respect that? Because it really seems like respecting a best friend’s 100 percent loyalty means that she shouldn’t question that loyalty. That’s what friends do with each other. Margaret and no one else knows what conversations went on between Siggy and Dolores when cameras weren’t rolling. Their friendship is their friendship.

Their friendship is their friendship. It seems really shady to attack Dolores Catania out of nowhere simply because she didn’t take Margaret’s side. She certainly did nothing to extend the drama or rile people up.

On a show where drama brings ratings and in turn, those ratings help solidify your place in the cast, Margaret Josephs is doing a great job. She’s already turned her back on the one who helped her get on RHONJ in the first place. That just proves that being a dynamic cast mate doesn’t always mean being a good friend.

Don’t forget to tune in for Real Housewives of New Jersey on Wednesday nights at 9/8 central on Bravo.
