RHONJ drama: Cast wants Danielle Staub edited out of Season 8 over racist rant

Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to premiere Season 8 in less than a month and a newly uncovered racist recording of Danielle Staub has cast mates asking for her to be removed.

Danielle Staub is learning quickly that her past can come back to bite her. With Season 8 of RHONJ quickly approaching, it looks like the Bravo vet may be in danger of losing her spot on the popular reality show.

It all goes back to a fight that Danielle got into back in 2015. According to TMZ, a recording of Danielle arguing with her boyfriend has surfaced and it’s got everyone upset. Despite the age of the recording, many RHONJ stars are angry and they want to erase Danielle from the show.

That’s because Staub can be heard saying some pretty awful things on the tape. On it, she reportedly calls her ex-boyfriend a “stupid Mexican.” As if that’s not bad enough, she also uses the n-word several times.

When Danielle Staub made the shocking rant that ended up on tape, she wasn’t on Real Housewives of New Jersey. She actually left the show after Season 2 and is only returning now for Season 8.

Could Danielle’s return end up getting wiped away because of what she did two years prior?

Removing Danielle Staub from Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey would be no simple task. The show is set to premiere in just a few short weeks. On top of that, Danielle is a huge part of the season.

That hasn’t stopped the rest of the RHONJ from feeling outraged over the shocking recording that could end Staub’s reality TV career. They reportedly asked for a meeting with Bravo producers to ask that she be edited out.

In the wake of Danielle Staub’s racist rant drama, many members of the cast are worried that filming with her may hurt them. They don’t want to see their own reputations suffer because of their friendship with Staub.

While no one has come out personally from the RHONJ cast to take shots at Danielle, it’s worth noting that Teresa Giudice recently made up with her.
