Yolanda Hadid is breaking her silence about the divorce from David Foster that shocked everyone.

You may remember her as Yolanda Foster from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she goes by Yolanda Hadid now. Fans watched her on the show for several seasons, but she decided not to return after season 6.

Shortly after the reunion filmed, news broke that David Foster and Yolanda were going to be divorced. This was quite a shock for fans who had watched them on the show, but it was also a shock for Hadid as well.

There are several things fans didn’t get to see behind the scenes in this relationship. Yolanda Hadid struggled with Lyme Disease and was almost always alone.

More from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

She would be filmed with her children or friends by her side, rarely David Foster. Of course, he would show up for some of the bigger events. Yolanda and David would put on a false face and no one would suspect the two were having marital troubles.

Yolanda Hadid and David Foster married in 2001. According to Radar Online, Yolanda is detailing her marriage in a new book she is writing. It starts at the beginning and goes through all of the horrors she experienced, especially toward the end of their marriage.

Hadid recalls taking very good care of Foster. She would attend all of his doctor appointments and keep track of medicines and tests. Yolanda was the perfect wife until she wasn’t. Once the Lyme Disease took hold, things changed for everyone.

There are memories recounted where David Foster didn’t take Yolanda’s health into consideration, something she mentions several times. It is a very different tale than what the couple sold to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans.

In fact, Foster is the one who encouraged Hadid to sign on to the show. A four-year contract was offered, and Yolanda took the deal. That is also likely why she got out when she did, she was no longer obligated.

Fans are shocked to see the claims Yolanda Hadid is making. David Foster’s absence wasn’t highly dwelled on, and now, it appears he was living a separate life while she was filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Their divorce announcement came as a shock but after reading the details, it was apparently a long time coming.
