Eileen Davidson confirms her much-rumored departure from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Things were already sus when Dorit Kemlsey shared an Instagram of the RHOBH ladies on a girls trip late last week…and there was one conspicuous absence. Promptly after, Eileen Davidson made it official in an Instagram of her own: She’s stepping away from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of her crazy work schedule(s) and to spend more time with her family.

In peak Real Housewives fashion, her departure note does not rule out cameos throughout the season, or a return as a series regular down the line. As Andy Cohen has said many times before, once you’re in the Bravo family, they’ll always take the call.

Eileen refers to her other commitments as YR and DOOL, but for those who aren’t deep in RHOBH and/or daytime soap enthusiasts, those acronyms stand for Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives. Which is to say: Eileen will still be on your TVs!

See her glamorous goodbye letter below.

Of course, departures mean fresh faces for the series, and we can’t really complain about that. New cast members are almost always good for a Real Housewives show. But just as often, Bravo chooses to bring back a fan favorite.

Camille Grammer, who posted nearly the same Instagram as Dorit, could be one such return.

Camille has stated in the past that’s she’s been “toying” with the idea of returning to the show that last three years — Bravo has apparently extended an open invitation — and as of March, her stance was, “maybe next year, we’ll see.

You know, after the reunion and after this season, and after the casting, we’ll see how they feel about it. We’ll be back and we can all discuss it.”

We’re certainly not opposed to Camille dipping her toes back in the RHOBH waters by way of girl’s trip appearances, but an open seat is always an opportunity.

Who do you want to see replace Eileen?
