Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City gave us plenty of drama, as well as a new housewife and a new friend of the housewives. The drama was real and for our new housewife, Bronwyn Newport, there were definitely a few things that maybe didn’t look great for her on screen.

As Reality Tea reports, during a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance a fan actually sent questions to Andy Cohen asking Newport about her behavior on RHOSLC. According to the fan, “I’ve noticed a pattern where you discussed something with others, then seek absolution from the person, and then you shift blame onto others.” They wanted to know from Bronwyn herself why she apparently does this.

Instead of blaming the way the show was edited or anybody else, it was clear that she was willing to take accountability for what was shown on screen. And honestly, we respect her even more for being willing to say that this is on her and not the edit. But what exactly did she have to say to the fan?

According to Bronwyn Newport, "I don’t know if that’s what I was trying to do. I hate that it looks that way." She went on to say, "No, never a bad edit, I don’t blame that. I think the conversation should include the person it’s about, always. So, I kind of always tell everybody what I’ve said, what other people have said."

Ultimately, it makes sense that she would want to address things with people, even if it meant bringing other people into the conversation. Perhaps the biggest issue is the way that she did it. To us, it often felt like throwing others under the bus to explain herself, even if that was not what she intended to do.

Personally, I really like what Bronwyn brings to the table on RHOSLC. Not only does she bring the high fashion, but she also tries to keep it real. And in this case, it might almost seem too real.

The fact that she is willing to make it clear that this is who she is and there is no "bad edit" that is making her look a certain way actually increases my respect for her. And personally, she is becoming a favorite housewife in the franchise for me.

Now we just need to get the confirmation that she will back for Season 6 and we will be even more happy.
